This is a mnemonic to help you remember the 14 countries of Oceania. Take the first letter of each word: Peckish At Night, Poor Meal Makes New King Send The Valet For Toasted Sandwiches → P-A-N-P-M-M-N-K-S-T-V-F-T-S, standing for Papua New Guinea, Australia, New Zealand, Palau, Micronesia, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Kiribati, Solomon Islands, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, Fiji, Tonga, Samoa.
Note: apart from the first three big countries, the remaining islands are in roughly north-south, west-east order.
