Explanation: To remember which number is the Numerator or the Denominator when working with fractions.
 Numerator Divided (by) Denominator when reading or converting fractions.
Additional Notes:

3/53 divided by 5 = 0.6
 Hint: the decimal sixtenths is equivalent to threefifths.
 Students tend to divide the LARGER # by the SMALLER number and commonly miss these types of items.
 Also, I teach my students to automatically “annex 0’s” by writing the understood decimal, placing it on the quotient bar directly above and then annexing at least two zeros.
