Explanation
This is an acronym to help you remember which trigonometric function is positive in each quadrant of the unit circle. Take the first letter of each word to reveal what it represents: in quadrant I, All functions are positive; in quadrant II, only Sine (and its reciprocal, cosecant) is positive; in quadrant III, only Tangent (and cotangent) is positive; and in quadrant IV, only Cosine (and secant) is positive.
