This is a memory sentence to help you remember the order of what to check before doing CPR. The first letter of each word gives you the first letter of what it stands for.
- Check to see if the person is Alert.
- Check to see if the person is Breathing.
- Check for a heartbeat (Cardio).
- After ABC, determine how to proceed.
